In January 2007, a group of two Apache Helicopter Gunship Crews and the Royal Marines threw together a crazy mission to rescue a wounded Marine trapped inside the Taliban stronghold, Jugroom Fort. To get him back, four Marines strapped themselves to the outside of the Apache helicopters and rode back into the compound. They would recover their comrade, who appeared to be severely wounded, and then ride back out. This is the true story of that daring rescue mission.
